We are headed to Disney in May and are so excited. We decided to take advantage of EMM as it will be the first day of our trip and will get us into the empty park and allow our son to ride 7DMT over and over.

The entire party is myself, my wife, 4 yo son, Grandma and Grandpa.

I was only able to get the last 3 EMM tickets available. That leaves Grandma and Grandpa out. They don't have any desire to ride the extra rides and are not huge bfast eaters either. However, as it is our first morning, they do really want to be with us as we head into the park for the first time and see my son's face. Even if there were EMM tickets available for them, they wouldn't really use any of the benefits (rides + bfast).

So my question is this...can they accompany us in and just not get the yellow wrist bands? If not, should I just make them an early morning ADR closer to opening time to get in with us?

They can enjoy Main St and the welcome show while you guys do EMM. Just an idea :)

When we went no one not on the reservation was allowed past the Hub.

They could just get a light breakfast at Starbucks and take it to one of the tables/chairs that are on either side of Main Street just before the Hub.

IMHO your best bet if you want max family together time would be to get them a PPO ADR at BOG. That way you’ll all be held at the main entrance together, let in at 7:45(ish) together, and can all get past the castle together.

They can be with you behind the castle/around Fantasyland the whole time. The only thing they can’t do is get on any of the rides. They can go grab a quick bite early at BOG and come out to meet you, watch you bounce from ride to ride, etc.

Another option would be what PPs describe - no PPO ADR and they can just hang out on Main Street/the Hub until park opening and meet up after rope drop. They won’t be let in the park at the same time as you (they’ll be a bit behind the EMM/PPO ADR folks) and they can’t get past the castle.

Hope all of that makes sense.

Happy to answer any questions.
