Early May

Hi everyone. Well sadly last year my wife and I were not able to make any trips to Disney due to money issues. We're hoping this year to take a week and are looking at the first two weeks of May at this point so we can see the flower and garden fest at Epcot. If you don't mind I had a couple of quick ?'s. First off what is the weather usually like during that time, how are the crowds, and is the F&G Fest worth seeing? From the pictures I've seen it looks amazing. We went in Nov of 08 for our Honeymoon and loved it, the weather wasn't too warm and the crowds weren't too bad and we are very anxious to get back to the world. Any advice yall could give would be greatly appreciated.

I am going the first week of May also. The average high is 88 from the weather reports I've looked on at allearsnet. It is supposed to be on the slower side during May. The F&G at Epcot is great, but I don't think it effects the crowds too much. There is a website by The Unofficial Guide to Disney that has a crowd report for specific days. I believe it is touringplans.com. Hope this helps- Have a great trip!

First off what is the weather usually like during that time, how are the crowds, and is the F&G Fest worth seeing?

Usually the temps are mid-80s with low humidity and little rain, but last year was HOT - mid to upper 90s, but that was the first time I'd experienced those temps at that time of year. Crowds are moderate and very doable, and the F&G Fest is definitely worth it.

I'll be there May 6-12 - can't wait!!

Thank You pasta and tigger that info really helps. Truthfully we want to take a longer vacation in Oct/Nov again but we just have to get down there sooner (having withdrawals). And since I have to use a week of vacation from last year before June, May is sounding great! Thanks again! Hope yall both have great trips as well!!!
