Early May Meet?

Hi!
I was posting stuff in the "Will You Wear Your LGMH in May?" Thread, and decided to start this one.

Anyone up for a meet in the earlier May times? We'll be there May 3-9th (We being 4, 21 year old girls!) We don't have park hoppers, and our schedule goes like this:

May 3: Arrival & dtd
4: MK
5: Ak
6: WWOHP (We have to!!) (with maybe an Epcot? evening)
7: Epcot
8HS
9: Departure

We (2 56 yos) will be there May 2-11. We will have park hoppers.
The only things we have set are ADRs in Epcot on the 4th and 6th (between 5:30 & 6 pm). Right now I'm planning on Universal for the weekend (7 & 8th).

My DH doesn't care so I was hoping for an afternoon meet while he is golfing.

Planned out my eight days this way...

day 1 - DTD
day 2 - Epcot
day 3 - MK
day 4 - AK
day 5 - DTD
day 6 - Studios
day 7 - Epcot
day 8 - MK - then flight home early evening

May 2: arrive early evening, relax at resort (AKL of course! hehehe...)
3: MK a.m., DHS p.m.
4: DHS a.m., open p.m.
5: MK a.m., open p.m.
6: AK a.m., maybe EP for evening EMH
7: EP
8: MK or AK

Katt, looks like both of us will be at Epcot on the 7th. Do we want to set something up for that day and see who else can join us? We have a lunch ADR at 11:30 at Via Napoli, but otherwise, we're free that afternoon!

We will be arriving on May 7th, we will be at Epcot if our 1 day that is wait listed for BWV comes thru. I do need some pixie dust on that one. If not we will be a AKV for one night, may see you there will put on the lime green Mickey .

Well must have been sprinkled with pixie dustmy waitlisted day for BWV on the 7th. So if there is a meet we can get there.

I know I could not believe it! I am still wait listing three days for boardwalk view for 7th - 9th then we will not have to switch rooms, but even if we do I am not complaining. This was a spur of the moment trip ... I can not wait. Now all I need to do is get my lime green Mickey ears ready

JL--I saw you post on another May thread that someone was planning an early May meet...were you referring to this thread or another that you know of? I did change my lunch ADR from Via Napoli to Chefs de France but we eat at 12 now, but anything later in the afternoon is fine with me

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond back. I am attempting a pre trip report , it is all over the place LOL.

Suellen started a thread "Dis early May meet up" we are throwing around May 7th WS Italy . Any time in the afternoon will work for us, the evening after being up since 3 am and a couple of Big Kid slushies in France who knowsThe excitment of just being there however usually keeps us going so I am going to say what ever time works for everyone else. This will be our first Dis meet I am excited!


I am all for the signature tasty beverage!!! We may have to wonder around for other such delights

Yay, I will not be the only new Diser at the meet. Your friends will know soon, is this their first time in Disney? You should go over to Suellens thread mentioned above and give your input as to time and place.

This will be my first DIS meet too! I'm thinking that my DH may decide to head back to the resort for some pool time with one of the kids, but who knows. The pull of the OGM slushies may just be too much for him!

The pull of the slushies and the lure of every other delightful treat always works on my DH. Have you tried the Margaritas at La Cava? YYUUMMMY

Yes, we did have the margaritas on our last trip....YYYYUUUMMMMMMYYYY! Hoping that the OGM slushies will live up their reputation

The fact that these slushies exist will definitely pull in my friends that are with me, as we work in the resturant industry, that's also linked to the theatre industry, haha, anything involving grey goose, and we're good!

By any random chance, any of you ever going in Sept 2012 or 13?
