you could always go to park one hour earlier than park was open and get in. early magic hours means park hours are listed at open at 9 am. does this mean you can get in at 7:30 am now? added 30 min. plus the one hour?

if you are at the parks this week how early is early to get into the parks??????? give specifics....like magic kingdom open at 9 but i got in at 7 am????

No, I think once the new early hours for resort guests start (which there is no start date yet) that will be half an hour prior to the posted opening time and non resort guests won’t be able to get in until the actual park opening time.

Sorry, that is not the case.

There are no Extra Magic Hours currently happening at WDW.
Further, they are going to end Extra Magic Hours, entirely.
At the time they begin the new "Early Entry" program (nobody knows when that will start)
resort guests will then be able to enter any of the 4 theme parks 30 minutes before the posted opening time, every day.

The newly announced "early entry" hasn't started yet -- sometime later this year. It is not the same as either "Extra Magic Hours" or "Early Morning Magic" offerings from the past.

I think the OP is just getting confused with how the parks have been operating since reopening when they’ve been allowing guests in early everyday. That was not the norm prior to COVID, and this new early hours for resort guests signals that this will be stopping once those hours start.

The Disboard's software will not allow a link to that site.
But, the info on it (I've read it) does not mean that WDW resort guests can get into the parks 60-120 minutes prior to posted opening time.

Read the info on THIS thread on the Disboards.

So if park has opening hours at 9 am. You would get in at 8:30. No reason to show up any earlier?

Correct. Once the new early hours for resort guests start, it would be half an hour prior to the listed opening time of the park. And only resort guests would be allowed in for that half hour.

closing to not create more confusion
EMH is no longer and earl entry hasn't started yet
