Early Entry ??

We are planning a trip for the middle of November and I am interested in finding out if the gates open early at all on the early entry days. I know the last time we went that the parks would open 10 to 20 minutes early (this was when they didn't have EE) and was wondering if this was still the case or do they open them exactly at 8:00?? Can anyone share their experiences?

We enjoy getting up early and getting to the parks and I am trying to make my plans now for what time that needs to be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If they open a little early, it's only to get some of the crowd into the front before they drop the ropes. The gates may open, but not the parks.

I've been at the gates at MK during EE and they don't let anyone in a sec before 8AM. In fact, they did a little countdown while we were there.

Is it true that its best to avoid the park with EE that day?? Do that many people really go to EE?
