Early entry on party days

I thought I read somewhere that the MK opens an hour early in party days. I noticed on the first party date 8/15, regular park hours are showing. Did I just dream up the earlier park opening?

They may change park hours closer to the party, likely around 3 weeks before the party. Earlier park hours are likely but not guaranteed.
