Disney discontinued early entry at Disneyland in January, and they have never had it at DCA. At Disneyland they now open the park an hour earlier EVERY day than they used to.
Thank goodness... the early entry mornings were a madhouse, with all the other park guests packed into the end of Main Street, waiting for the ropes to drop, glaring and fussing at people who were trying to get through. It is much better this way.
When you say they open the parks an hour earlier than usual every morning, do you mean the posted entry time is an hour earlier than they used to be, or that they're opening the parks an hour earlier than the posted time? (I want to make sure I'm one of the first people in the park. . . I am a true theme park commando!)
I find this very interesting as we have just got our tickets for our September holiday which includes a 4 day hopper pass & in our itenary it says we are entitled to one day early entry at Disneyland.
Shouldn't the travel agents & airlines know about this change? Just seems a bit strange to me that it was discontinued in January & our tickets say we are entitled to one day early entry. Weird!!
I will let our travel agent know this so she can pass it on to her colleagues.
