My dad has the unofficial guide and asked me if I knew about Early Entry for Universal with a multi-day pass. I have not heard of this. Has anybody here?
I don't have the book so I can't tell you word for word what it says about it.

They stopped the early entry several years ago. There is early entry to ride the Mummy that is part of a package .

Hey Reeddi,

I work for the Unofficial Guide, and live outside Greensboro. Is your dad reading a recent Unofficial Guide? Drop me a line and let me know where we've got that in the book.

Thanks!

Len,
I recognize your name from the Unofficial Guide....you're the guy who does the computer mojo to figure out the best touring plans, right? Anyway, since you asked, I had also wondered about early entry (before coming to the Dis boards) due to the Guide. I have the 2004 U.G. to Walt Disney World. Page 618 has a section called "Early Entry and Universal Express" which talks about the info in the OP. I'm too lazy to check the updates and see if it's already been fixed, but there you are!
(And I'd like to add that imho you guys should do an in-depth guide for Universal. I really like Kelly Monaghan's book and it's more than enough for a regular planner, but it just doesn't scream "buy me if you're an OCD-afflicted theme park maniac who needs 3 pages of instruction about using an atomic clock so your kids can eat breakfast with Cinderella!!" :p )

snoozn (who's kids ate breakfast with Cinderella) ;)
