I will be in the parks Sept 13-17 by myself. Is the single rider line open as soon as RSR opens and is it best to use that or go standby first and then use single rider? Not sure how it works.

I don't know about about EMH, but regarding Singer Rider versus Standby, if you're a solo traveller, I would probably do whichever has a shorter line. The only advantage to doing the standby line is if you want to request a specific row (e.g., front row). You cannot request a row in the single rider line, but most times the CM will let you request a row in the standby line.

SRL was not open for RSR for EMH when I was there in May.

I didn't have EMH as I was staying offsite for a conference and have an AP, but the CM let me in anyways as I was the first in line at the normal gates. Tried to use SRL and CM at front of RSR said it wasn't available until normal park opening. I think I got in around 8:15 and park opened at 9.
