Early December car rental (National/Alamo) rates, any good ones yet?

Has anybody pulling any rabbits out of the hat this year yet???

I do currently have an 11 day rental from National, with the AMEX code, 5125601, and an Entertainment 2 class upgrade to Full size, for 299.08, all taxes and fees.

How are you all doing??

For December I have 6 days (National) $124. using the National coupon for $20.

I have a minivan Dec 9-16 from Alamo for $259 (this includes all taxes). I'm okay with this rate, but I'd like to see it lower.

However, looking at rates today, even with my codes and coupon, it's like $380 or something like that.

Might just have to wait on it a little more.

man i'm glad i booked way back in April!!!

i've got a standard SUV with alamo..dec 8-15th using a bj's coupon, total of $172.45

i booked early and planned to rebook of i could get it cheaper but it's not looking good so far.

December 14-23 (9 days), standard size, for $237 (includes those fees). Keep hoping for under $200, but I don't think it's gonna get down. I used some of the codes on www.mousesavers.com.
