Our daughter (26) and I have decided to buy Magic Keys and see if we make use of them. To break even we need to go about 5 visits. We decided that we like short visits with a theme or goal. We want to go around mid November for the day and experience Christmas at Disney. What should we plan to do or see? Except for a ride here and there we are more interested in what we can experience that is not a ride but specific to Christmas time.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I’m a big fan of getting candy cane beignets from the Mint Julep Bar/Window and trying for the giant handmade candy canes in either park (don’t remember the details but a search should pop what you need to know.) If you’re willing to go on a Friday/Saturday they will be running my favorite fireworks show ever “believe… in holiday magic.” Highly recommend making time for this experience. Other than that, I like to walk around and enjoy the decorations, then make a second lap after sunset - the lights everywhere are gorgeous!

Are fireworks only Friday and Saturday? I was under the impression they were every night during Christmas.

They are currently running fireworks Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. The schedule for Christmas season has not been announced yet but my guess is that it will be similar.

We so hope that they will be making the Candy Canes again this year. We lucked out and were able to get several of them on our last visit. You had to be early and get in a long line to wait for a wrist band, and then return in the late afternoon. They are so yummy when they are freshly made, they just melt in your mouth.

Their gingerbread is to die for…found at Candy Palace, Jolly Holiday bakery, seems they change the shape from year to year, once upon a time THEY WERE HUGE like ten inches high and about half an inch thick. Last time (2018) they were more round like a traditional one but still so so delicious! Great with cocoa while watching the parade!
