We are doing a split stay between BCV and AKV Kidani in June-July. We are doing QSDP for the first week, then basic DDP for the next week. We have a breakfast ADR at Cape May Cafe for checkout day around 8am so I figured we should have plenty of time to wake everyone up and go downstairs. My question is, if I wake up REALLY early, will I be allowed to checkin at AKV around 6ish, get our room keys and start using our DDP in time for breakfast at CMC before we checkout of BCV? We're planning to use this day as pool/resort day so we're not too worried about accommodations. Will probably checkout at BCV around 11 and still hangout at the pool until our room at AKV is ready.

It depends upon when Kidani resets their computers for the day. 6am seems to be the normal time, but they can run late if there are glitches.

We do this every split stay. Sometimes I've have been told to come back at 7:00 AM.

Yes you can check into your new resort before checking out of the old one. 7am is “safe” at 6am they may not be “ready yet”, but they may be.

We are doing something similar to this and I had a question as well. We are staying at SSR and then transferring to AKV. We will have the basic DDP for both stays. On the day we switch hotels, can we still use our DDP credits from the first stay even if we have checked in to AKV? Thank you for your input.

Your SSR credits will be good all day on your switch day.

Yes actually on your “switch day” both your SSR DDP and you AKV DDP credits should both be available to you (once you have your room card at AKV).

I've done this at least 4 time, all at 6 am or before.

I've done this at least 4 times all at 6 am or before, never had to return. As noted, you'll have both sets of credits from checkin at the second resort until MN.
