early check in question

Is online check in more likely or less likely to have a room ready for early check in?

I would guess it is still just a supply and demand thing; however, with the online check in that I did last week, I was able to indicate that early check in was more important than the other things on my 'wish list'. So, while I asked for ground floor, near transportation, my preference for early check in trumps those requests. Sometimes our TA puts early check in requests on our bookings when she knows we have an early arrival flight.
Good luck. We are arriving at BC around 11am and would love early check in!

It worked for us, but I would say it just depends on supply and demand as the previous post says.

I would say we can do early check in about 80% of the time when we arrive. Sometimes as early as 7 or 8 am! Our room seems to always be ready by about noon, but I agree with everyone else about supply and demand. Probably more likely during the week than the weekend.

Depends on the time of year you go... We've done online check-in, arrived at 11:30am and our room was ready to go.. I think it also depends if you have any specializations or you are willing to take whatever.

With online check in, you can note the approximate time of your arrival. So, if you are going to be there, say at 10:00 AM and you don't have any certain requests, you could be assigned a room that was vacated and cleaned at 9:00 AM so you would ave a room available.

But, you have room requests that you really need, then it might not happen. And if no room is cleaned and vacated before you arrive, if might not happen.

The good thing is you can put in your approximate arrival time.

I don't believe online check in is available for people from the UK.

You certainly can they just can't do the direct to room access as you are not sent magic bands.

There is no link to online checkin. You sign in to MDE at 60 days out and there will be a button next to your resort stay that says online check in.
