Early Breakfast at MK

So when you get to the Mk early for a breakfast, you just say, I'm here for a PS and they take your word for it and you go in? How exactly does this work...I know you can't get to rides, but if you finish early or are waiting to get in, can you walk up to the castle and take pictures? To get into the park, do you need more than just your ticket and saying you are going to eat?

You must have an advanced reservation to enter any park before opening. I believe at the MK they let you walk to your breakfast yourself. At the AK they escort you in a group. It's a good idea to have your advanced reservation number with you if for some reason your name is not on the list at the entrance.
I don't know about the MK but at the AK if you are finished before the park opens you are held back at the rope. The only good thing is that you are in the middle of the park so you can get to anything you want way before the people at the main entrance. At the AK the CM escorting you to your breakfast advises you to get a Fast Pass for something like "It's tough to be a bug" or the safari and ride the other via the stand by line once the rope drops.

Our resort gave us a special print out that we showed them at the gate and then had to give them at the castle. I'm not sure what you'd do if you were staying offsite.

We had to go to the far left at MK and tell the guy we were there for a CRT PS. He let us right in. We walked down main street when it was almost completely empty. They already had the photo people out and they were taking pics of all the families going to their PSs. It was the best pic b/c no one was around and it was a clear view of the castle behind us.

At MK gate, we were only asked if we had PS's made. They took our word for it and did not ask for a confirmation number or check us off against any list. I head them ready though, just in case. We didn't need the confirmation number at all. When we got to the castle, they just asked us our name and the PS time.

Ok so if I have a Ps at 8:15 what time will they let me in?
If we are staying at the all stars what time shouold we leave to make it on time to our ps at CRT?I am guessing the park is going toopen at 9am that day!

When we went the 2nd week of June, the CM's at MK did not ask us for our reservation # or if we even had a reservation. We just stood in the line to get in that was marked 'character breakfasts'. On our way in, we thought we would want some castle pictures but did not see any photo pass people around. Also, our reservation was for 8:05 but they let everyone in at 8:00 on the dot no matter what the time was for.
From what I had read on these boards ahead of time, I was expecting something a little different!

Me too...this sounds so much easier than I expected it to be...so what keeps people without PS from going in early to stroll around Main Street?

I guess just their own honesty? By the time we were done with breakfast, it was 9:05, so I didn't get to see what Main Street looked like around 8:30 or so, but at 8:00, it seemed everyone was heading to either CRT or CP.

To pamouselover.....be at the All Stars bus stop by 7:15am and take the bus to the Magic Kingdom. You will make it in plenty of time. You will likely be early, but it's better than late.
