I was just able to snag an ADR for Chef Mickey's on Father's Day for 7:20am. Looking at the park hours, I see that both the MK and EPCOT open 9:00am that morning. We are staying at All-Star Sports and wondering what our options may be? My initial thoughts are that the buses and Monorail may not even be running at that point and perhaps a taxi may be the only option. With that I would wonder approximately how much that may be (we're from a dinky town and I've been in a taxi twice in my life :rotfl:) and are taxis exempt from child seat laws? Also, with taxis, how does that even work, do I go to the front desk to make arrangements?

Thank you.

Buses start running at 6:30 am for early morning ADR's. Depending on the resort you are at and where you are going to, you may just make it.

If not, you can opt for a cab. You can catch them at the entrance of any resort; if there is not one sitting there, the bell services will call for one for you. They arrive in seconds, literally.

After you take the bus to TTC, just hop on the resort monorail that will take you over to contemporary.

Actually there are no buses from any of the WDW Resorts to the TTC. If the OP was to take one they can get on one which goes right to the Magic Kingdom. Plus they don't even need to take the Resort Monorail because the bus station is located right by the walkway to the Contemporary.
