How far in advance do you have to book to get the "early booking discount"? Thanks.

We booked 13 months in advance for a four day cruise and saved about $600. I kept checking the Disney ressies area and it seemed that every 4 months the price went up a little. We also opted for no air or ground transfer or insurance and saved about another $200. Good luck!!

The farther the better. To my understanding, there is not a set "early booking" discount, rather a kind of sliding scale. As a particular sailing fills up, the rates go up. This usually coincides with the sailing date approaching. I'm sure one of the travel agents on the board can clarify and give some more specific details, but I think that this is the general gist of it.

Not sure how other TA handle it but you should book as early as possible. I would even book as soon as the date becomes available.

With DU they will adjust the price automaticly if it drops and of course you can cancel up to almost the last minute (no worse than 60 days) so there is little downside for booking early.

I booked mine 2+ years ago and I know the same cabin is $,$$$ more.

I booked about 14 months in advance and when I check the price now it is up about 1000 more than what I am paying!

It's definately a sliding scale. We're booked for next july. Added my in-laws three weeks ago. Then last week added my sister-in-law in the same categorie. Sister-in-law is paying $150 more for the same room!
