Our plane gets in at 7:30am, So I am guessing we will arrive at WDW - ASMo about 9am, with grocery stop et al. I know they will hold our luggage for us if our room is not available but what about any perishables that we may have, do they have a way to store these?? We are planning on buying some soy milk and maybe a few other things that need to be refridgerated, is this going to be possible??

This is something I've often wondered about myself.

Are you renting a frig for your room? Publix often has those styrofoam coolers that are very cheap. I would bring one and once you arrive at ASMo- get some ice for it. I would call the hotel directly and ask

If you're bringing or buying a cooler on your grocery stop, you can purchase a bag of ice at the grocery too and ice down your perishables in your cooler while you're still at the store. That way, if you have to store your stuff at the resort, you'll be storing an iced down cooler with your stuff already inside.

Are you staying at one of the DVC resorts - OKW, BWV or VWL? Bell Services at those resorts does have the facilities to store perishables. You would need to separate them from your other groceries and point out the need for refrigeration when you "check" your luggage.

If you are not staying at one of the other resorts, your best option is a cooler.

We will be staying at ASMo. Not renting a fridge ($10/day, you got to be kididng me  ) . I will have a soft sided cooler to keep the things cool in the room.

I guess I will just have to pack it in my carry-on. Should I get ice at the grocery stop or just get some when we get to ASMo??

I would buy ice when you purchase your perishables. If you get caught in traffic or are delayed for some reason your stuff may go bad on the way there. You don't want a nasty case of food poisoning at the start of your trip.

If you are only buying milk then I'd suggest getting it at the resort. It would be a waste if you couldn't properly keep it cold on the way and then it went bad-especially if you can't get into your room right away.

I can't remember if they sell soy milk at the All Stars or not.

I guess we will be buying ice then :)

I am sure my mom will NOT want to take chances on them having the "right type" of soy milk, she is very picky.
