Early annual pass renewal

Not sure if this was covered in another post. I have a September resort reservation but my annual pass would not be valid for my visit because it will expire in April. Member services allows the pass to be renewed early if you have a resort reservation so you can make your park reservations. I wasn't sure how it worked and was a little concerned that I might not be able to get a park pass. DVC member services can renew for you, but if it is a Silver Florida resident pass you will need to contact Disney direct.
