Early ADR on same day christmas day parade taping

I was just wondering, but those who had a early ADR between 8 - 8:30am on the morning of the christmas day parade taping at CP or even at CRT, how hard was it to get into MK? Is it just as easy as any other morning? With all the people there for the taping my guess the front entrance is probably completely packed. Im just wondering this just incase DH and I go next December. I was thinking about doing a early ADR at CP on the 1st Sat of Dec. And thats when they will prob tape the next parade being the 1st weekend of December. Also, those who did go this past time for an early ADR, were you able to get any good pics of the castle?

We went the morning of the castle shows taping (11/30) to an 8 am ADR at CP. We had no trouble getting in, they have a separate line for the people there for the show.

As far as Main Street and the castle, there were HUGE setups of cameras, lights, and groups of people wandering and also assembled in front of the castle. So the view of it is not the best. They also have shrubs or something around the Town Square Circle where Regis and Kelly's platform is.

We ate, went on everything in Fantasyland, Goofy's Barnstormer, Pirates, Mansion, Buzz, TTA, saw MIckey, Ariel, the Princesses, Buzz and Stitch, and walked out the gates by 1:30.

On Saturday, the day they tape the actual parade, we stayed away. We had to be back for our ME bus at 4, and were worried we would get stuck in MK and be late. But someone else may be able to let you know how that day went.
