Early Admission with Checkout at Disney Resorts?

I am surprising my Girlfriend with a trip to the Magic Kingdom on October 14th. This date happens to be a MK Early Entry day so I'm considering booking a room at the All Movies Value Resort.

The catch is we likely will be driving down to West Palm beach that evening....hence we only need the room for Wednesday night. How does early entry work with regards to your hotel stay. Apparently checkout time is 11am and we need our hotel keycard to gain early entry at 8am?

What do we do if we check out before heading over to the park...is it still possible to get early entry? Are we going to have to leave the park at 11am to check out?

What do you guys suggest?

You will have to check out before you go to the parks if you don't want to come back (and most wouldn't). If you request instant check out you'll have your information on the door the night before/early morning and if everything is fine you are just on your merry way after packing up. Your room key will be good until midnight the day of checkout so you will still have access to all Disney transportation, early entry, and any tickets that might be on the card.

You will be able to use the early entry. You get to keep the room key, even after checking out. And the dates on the key will be good through the day you check out. If you take the bus from the resort to the MK, they often don't even check the room keys there since supposedly only resort guests can be getting to the entrance. Have fun.

They tell you the bill will be on the door by 9AM so I recommend stopping at the front desk the night before to look it over so you don't get any surprises on your credit card bill.
