Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express? Advise please

The photos contrasting the food quantities between EOS and WPE are very misleading. The WPE photos show the meal including soup and salad, whereas the photo from EOS only shows a sandwich, dessert and drink. One could, if they wished, also add an excellent salad at EOS and soup.

As for looks and presentation, I agree, WPE wins, hands down. However, the looks of the food don't matter that much when it's all said and done.

I'm a fan of Quizno's and although they have a number of great sandwich offerings, they don't hold a candle to EOS.

It all depends on the customer's budget... For us, the sandwich, dessert and drink (perhaps adding some chips as well) are more than enough for lunch.

I wasn't trying to show the quantity of food, I was trying to show the quality of the food. I'm sorry, but I really find EOS sandwiches to be skimpy. I just don't get the buzz.

I guess its just a matter of opinion, cause I do like Quizno's better too.

:lmao: I'll be sure to tell all my friends that you disagree with them. :thumbsup2

Rude much???

I really liked EOS--and I did not find the sandwiches skimpy. In fact, I ate only half of one and was more than full. I've never been to WPE, however, so I can't give a review of that--but I love EOS.

:goodvibes So long as we can all agree that Subway is THE PITS! :goodvibes

Not at all. That's the problem with the internet, you can never tell the intent behind a post, and sometimes the smilies available don't do the comment justice.

I merely ment that I'd be sure to tell my friends that while I may not have an opinion of my own since I've never personally dined there, I have heard from others that they are very good.

No foul, no harm.

WPE. I haven't eaten at EOS in DTD, because I don't want to wait half an hour in line for a sandwich...

ooooohhhh..this was definitely an easy one for me. WPE hands down! I can't recall what we ordered there last June (I have photos somewhere) but I remember it was GREAT! We had portions big enough we could share (the 2nd time there, we did just that). We had breakfast once..terrrific! The other day we had lunch/dinner...it was even better.

If I had to chose....definitely WPE....

best of luck to you,
Esmerelda

I think they're both good,I probably go to Earl of Sandwich more often since I'm pretty addicted to the Original 1762.As far as others who say the lines at EOS are long,I would agree they are many times but they move very, very fast.

Have always eaten at EOS before because i truly love the fresh bread, the salads, the smoothies, very yummy. However......this time the line was out the door and I thought I would give WPE a try. I was very pleasantly suprised, the food was all to a high standard, more plentiful than EOS, i liked the almost table service feel, so food wise WPE wins.
The downer for me was the difference in price! At WPE you are nearly paying TS price while at EOS you are getting a bargain really. So next time my deciding factors will be: do i have the time to sit and wait for WPE as if busy it can take a while and do i have the funds in my budget to pay TS for a planned CS? If not then I will happily go back to EOS, wait my turn in a line that does go nice and fast and still have yummy food?

I think I would consider EOS the obvious choice but use WPE as a treat if I have the time and money:thumbsup2

WPE!!!
absolutely the best CS in all of WDW (& prob the only time our entire family agreed :lmao: )
EOS is good, WPE is excellent!

Boy, those pictures just made me really hungry! We've always been big EOS fans, but last time we were on DDP and ate at WPE. It was outstanding, the pizzas were really good. So was the creme brulee!

After eating at both locations my vote would go to the Earl of Sandwich. In my opinion I think their food is a lot better and their prices are a lot more reasonable then Wolfgang Puck Express.

I ate at EOS 4 times on my last trip and loved it, but those pics of the WPE food has me thinking I'll give it a try. It will be in addition to my EOS days, of coarse!!!!

I have to say that I enjoy both...they're my favorites at Marketplace....EOS has great sandwiches and WPE has a great Chinois Chicken Salad.

We really enjoy EOS, but are looking forward to giving WPE a try on our next trip. The menu seems more varied to me, and the food pics you have all included look amazing.

Could someone remind me again where WPE is located at DTD? Was it near the Christmas shop or near Once Upon a Toy? Now, I just can't remember???:confused3

Thanks! :daisy:
