Earl of Sandwich (DTD)

I must be in the minority, but I would not go back. The line was long, and the noise level was horrible. So many people in one spot made me feel a bit claustophobic. The sandwiches were good, though.

Earl of Sandwich has become our new traditional eating place for our first night (that is if doing it for two trips makes it a tradition :)). We love the sandwiches and especially the low cost. I like the meatball sandwich myself. Great place to eat at a good value IMO. The lines and noise don't bother us at all.

our first day will be at DTD. Dinner is at House of Blues before Cirque du Soleil and plan is to spend the afternoon (not early risers) shopping so EOS sounds perfect!!

Thanks, Pooch

Thats my feeling also as I mentioned above. We have eatern there twice. The lines were long but the food was good. Its fast food no more..smjj

EOS is the first lunch upon arriving at Disney. I always get the Tuna Melt.

We looooove EoS. In Dec they had a holiday special which was turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce on a sandwich. DH said it was the best he has ever eaten. We each usually get one sandwich, a potato salad and a drink to split. It's like $13 and so filling.

I had a sandwich at EOS in Dec and me and DBF really liked it! They are really different compared to regular sandwich shops. I can't wait to go back!

We LOVE EOS!!! I was panicking a bit when someone posting it wasn't included on the DP. Glad to hear it still is. We use all our CS credits (ones left over from DP) and load up on sandwiches. My favorite is the Scudetto...yummy!

inky dinky doo,

I just checked the mousesavers site and the Earl is listed. That is so strange because I would swear it wasn't listed about a month ago. My DH hasn't eaten there yet, and it was one place I planned to take him until I looked at the DP brochure. It's so inexpensive I couldn't understand why they would take it off the plan (maybe the long lines?) I'm happy now!

I'm so glad you found out they're still on the plan! I was afraid you'd miss my note and not realize they are still included. I think Disney needs a new proofreader. :rotfl:
