I am thinking about getting my ear lobes pierced. I had a few questions.

1) Where did you go?
2) How old were you?
3) How much did it hurt on a scale of zero to ten?
4) Did you get an infection?

3. 3 or 4... Not much at all, and I'm a wimp.
4. Nope I was very diligent in cleaning them every night.

I even got my ears double pierced and had that for 3 years, but they closed up after a few weeks of not wearing them, they closed up I didn't have that issue with my first piercing, though.

Getting your ear lobes pierced is a piece of cake. I first got mine pierced when I was about 4. I took them out that day and they got infected. I had a habit of doing that and had to get them re-pierced about 4 more times. I didn't have infections each time though, just the once. It's a quick pinch. If you pinch your earlobe with your nails, that's about as bad as it will hurt. I have my lobes done three times and got my third piercing in 6th grade, the second when I was in 3rd I believe and then my 3 in my cartilege when I was about 14-16 (basically I'm saying that the pain is very minimal and short lived). As long as you clean and turn the earrings like they show you how to do, you'll have no problem. Where to go is up to you. Places like Claires and the Piercing Pagoda are where most people go. If you want a really good job, go to a piercing shop where thery will actually use a needle which is supposed to be better for your ear. Though it sounds more painful. Good luck to you!

I had my mom push them back through when I was 7 that was a 8 on the scale and then a few months ago I had her push one through again and I'd rate it a 3.
Both times my ears bled after a few weeks and they hurt, so I don't wear earrings.

1) Where did you go? It depends, I've gotten my lobes pierced several times. I went to Peircing Pagoda once, and that ended horribly. (I'll explain.) The last time I went, I went to a jewellery store in the mall that was reccomended to me.

2) How old were you?
I got them pierced when I was an infant, but the doctor ordered them to be taken out. (Infections.)
I got them repierced when I was four. One of the holes was too low (I moved my head as the gun pierced.) This was fine until I was 14, and then it became unbearable.
So that's when I went to Piercing Pagoda to get that one lobe repierced. BUT that didn't last very long.
I let BOTH ears close up.
Back in May I got them repierced again, and everything's fine.

3) How much did it hurt on a scale of zero to ten?
The last time, probably a 6 if 10 is the highest. My right ear was fine, but my left ear hurt for about a week because of where I got it pierced.

4) Did you get an infection?
Not right after the piercing, but my left ear got infected when I wore cheap earrings for a few hours last weekend.

5. Have you ever gotten earrings at Disney?
Yes.

6. How much do they cost?
It depends on what you're going for. Gold is going to cost a lot. Sterling silver runs at around $30-$40.

4) Did you get an infection? Yes, obviously. That's why I had to keep getting them repierced. My ears are very finicky and only like a certain kind of metal.

6. How much do they cost? That would probably depend on what kind you got. I don't think they're cheap tho, considering the fact that NOTHING at Disney is cheap.

1) Where did you go? Claire's for both of my bottom holes. I did my cartilage myself.
2) How old were you? I was 9 when I got my first ones and 16(?) when I got my second. I did my cartilage at 15.
3) How much did it hurt on a scale of zero to ten? I dunno, a 1, maybe? for both my cartilage and lobes.
4) Did you get an infection? No.
5) Have you ever gotten earrings at Disney? Once, like a long time ago.
6. How much do they cost? I can't remember.

I got it done the first time when I was 7. It got infected because I was allergic to the gold. The dr had to get it out for me. I had to wait for it to close up and then got them repierced when I was 8 and only wear 14k gold for long periods of time. It isn't so bad. I haven't had earrings in for like a year and a half though so I guess I should do that. If I go long periods of time my ear gets like little bits of skin over them.

I went to Claire's to get them done.

1)Where did you go? A drugstore kind of place, that just sells random things. I think it was a Shoppers. I always thought Claire's looked like they did it as a kind of show, like in the window where everyone could watch, and I hate the idea of that.

2) How old were you? I got my first holes at 7, 11 and 13. I added a second hole at 13 too.

3) How much did it hurt on a scale of zero to ten? Like, a 2. The second hole hurt more than the first.

4) Did you get an infection? Yes, but that was because in my first holes, a boy pulled my earring, the hole stretched, and it got dirt in it. That was when I was 7. The other time I forgot to put earrings in, and my second holes closed too.

5) Have you ever gotten earrings at Disney? Yepp

6. How much do they cost? Don't know, my mom got them for me.

5. Yes, I am currently wearing some they are small dangly ones with light blue mickey mouse heads outline (one blue and one thats a smidge bigger that's silver)
6. They cost around... 12 dollars. But, I love them and they don't hurt my ear/infect it.

Sorry, this really didn't help much, I was too young to remember anything. But, I'm glad I got my ears pierced so young I can't even remember it, so incase it did hurt, I can't remember. But I do suggest you go to Claires to get them done, it's free.
