Ear Cysts?

I just found out I have an infected ear cysts and boy does it hurt! I have started to take the antibiotics but came home from work early because it was just too painful. Anyone else have this? How long before you started to feel better? I just hope it goes away and I don't have to end up getting it lanced.

Where are the cysts? Are they related to earrings?

The cyst is inside my ear, through the ear canal. I am not sure how it got there.
