EA Car Classes

I signed up for EA but haven't received my info packet yet so I was hoping you people could answer a question for me. I have read that sometimes upgrades are available when you pick up your car. Does this mean I have to rent a certain class car to take advantage of EA? I can't reserve a Compact from EA and end up with a standard class car, right? - Mike

If you use the EA, the minimum size car is Intermediate. Generally, the rate to rent Full Size is the same as Intermediate for EC members using EA. With an EA reservation, you can take any vehicle on the aisle, but are only guaranteed the size you reserved. Some have reported finding minivans and SUVs on the EA, but that is exceptional. We usually reserve Full Size so that if none is available, we can take a FS from the FS aisle (which is adjacent to the EA at MCO). If you reserve Compact as an EC member, you will be bumped to Counter service rather than EA.
