E-tour and ask Jeeves

I had received an email about this some time ago, something about ask Jeeves buying out etour. Does anyone know what it going on? Are they reinstating etour with ask Jeeves? Do you think that our accounts with etour will still be good? Or, am I completely wrong, just dreaming and hoping that some good will come out of the time I wasted at etour???

I don't know, but you are still able to accumulate points, so I guess I will keep racking them up in the hopes they will start offering rewards soon.

I saved the email that I received and it says:
"If you have earned TourPoints, Ask Jeeves is working on a solution to provide you with value for the TourPoints you've earned to date. This includes those of you who have redeemed your points but have not yet received your reward. We're working out the final details and will be communicating the specifics by mid-June."
I haven't heard anything since then - I redeemed in April but never received my GC. I'm not too hopeful, but maybe I will be pleasantly surprised!
