E-Mail/US Mail Promotions

My brother in law receives WDW promotions at least twice a year via email and US mail with discounts to stay at WDW resorts. I have been going to WDW for the past 5 years, twice a year, and have yet to receive any type of promotion. Can someone please explain to me why my family never receives any promotions from WDW? Thank you.
