We leave in less then 2 weeks for the Eastern Magic cruise. My wife and I are taking our 8 year old grandson and our newly adopted 4 year old daughter. My question is when we went on a Princess cruise, our children at home could e-mail us daily. this would be printed out and delivered to our room for free. Is this available on the Magic also. If so, what would the e-mail address be? Thanks for your help

As far as I know, still no internet access in the cabins (yet), but they do have the Internet Cafe, you have to pay per minute or buy a week's package (unlimited use). I don't think there's a printer hook up, so you can't print out any messages.

I seem to remember you're assigned an internet name, but can log into your own email address once you're on.

YES u can print out stuff at the internet cafe... get the
weekly internet package for about $90.00 and when u set it up u can the email back and forth to the ship...
no problem have a great cruise.........

There is not a way for your family to email the ship and have the messages delivered to your cabin.
The only way to send/receive email is to pay by the minute (75¢) or get the unlimited access.

didn't I see instructions next to the monitor at the Intenet cafe showing how someone could e-mail anyone on the ship? Maybe you need to sign up for the package anyway???

Here's some info I found on how family can email you while you are on the Magic/Wonder......

"You have two options when it comes to email. You can use a web based email account (like DIS Mail), or you can use an email account that is created for you when you first log on using the Internet Cafe. Your email address becomes your first initial, last name & cabin number, followed by @magic.cruisemail.net So, if you're John Smith in cabin 8068, your email address would be jsmit8068@magic.cruisemail.net Please keep in mind that all per minute charges apply while you are composing your emails, and there is also an additional $3,95 fee for each email you send (using the cruisemail.net account), and a fee of $4.95 per video email."

I know this is not the printed and delivered to your room type that you asked about, but, it is a way of having family contact you if you do not already have a web based email address.......Andy
