DxDDp and mugs

When do you get your resort mugs when you are on the DxDDP? Do they give them to you when you check in or at your first visit to your resorts food court area? Thanks

they put the credit on your room key, then you go to your resorts food area and pick out your mugs and then "pay" for them with your key/dining plan

what do you mean as a credit on your room key? What do you tell the cashier or are they just charging the mugs and the credit will take care of the mug costs?

I know it said "resort mug" on my receipt. I simply told the cashier i was on the deluxe and she rang it up and then that "mug credit" came off my receipt. This is a case no need to wonder how..just know it's there and when you go to pay there will be no charge for the mug
