DW Thanksgiving Tips

We are staying at BWV during Thanksgiving week with my DH and DS7 before heading out on a Western Caribbean cruise the week after the holiday. We were able to book a 1 bedroom, so we will have a kitchen, but I am not planning on cooking tons of meals as I want to get away. We were wondering if others had tips for visiting during the holiday week? Any recommendations for restaurants for holiday dinners? Any tips for things to do outside of visiting parks each day? What are good days to visit the parks or is it always crowded during a holiday. Really, I would love to collect any tips at all for enjoying the week without getting too annoyed at the big crowds. We will have a rental car. Thanks!

Since you have a car, I would order a complete meal to go from Publix, just heat and eat.

You other choice is to make a dining reservation and fight the crowds.

We have done Publix dinner as well as eating at different restaurants for Thanksgiving. We decided that the crowds, surcharges on the meals and lackluster food were too much. Last Thanksgiving we had a big breakfast in the grand villa before we set out for the day. We celebrate later. We are thankful to be together.
