Sorry if I'm duplicating previous posts. I know I saw posts about the very merrry christmas party not to long ago, but I didn't think much about it until someone told us last night that they may have it going when we are there Nov 6-11.

Sure enough I checked the website and the first show it Nov 9th! Very excited as it is something I know our kids will love, and us adults have never done it.
I also read the DVC members get a discount on the tickets. It's a $4 discount up to 6 tickets, and that's exactly how many we need, so $24 is $24.

So my question is, do I need to call member services to get the discount or do I just call disney and tell them I am a DVC member? I know it said you need valid DVC ID to pick up the tickets.

You need to call MS at least one day prior. Special Event tickets are Will Call only and you will need your blue DVC member ID card when picking up the tickets.

Funny because I was just talking to my mother (been on 4 Disney trips in the past 4 years, but never had my mom come with us till this next trip) and we were looking at park hours for the dates and I thought it was very odd that the MK closed at 7 on a Friday night. I'm so glad someone told us about it. If we had found out while down there, and DIDN'T get tickets, I'm sure my wife would've had a fit

It's a 6 ticket limit for DVC, and 4 ticket limit for AP holders to get the discount. I just didn't know who I needed to order from. Going to call MS tonight. Has anyone ever done it and can give me a review? Never been there during Christmas, and probably never will because of work, but thrilled they have it during our trip.

Last year I purchased our tickets online with the discount. This year I just called MS since I was using a gift card to pay for part of it. Either way you will pick up your tickets at the Will Call window.

This will be our third year in a row going to the Christmas Party. If you like Christmas, you will love the party! Hope you have a wonderful time!

It's a lot of fun because you get to see all of the special MK holiday events in just a few hours. DH and I went last year and loved it, so we are going again this year.

MVMCP starts at 7PM, but you can enter at 4:00PM with your MVMCP tickets.

So if you sleep in a little and have a pool day before going, or if you don't have hopper passes, visit another park early in the day. Or just save a day on your passes.

We did this for our first time last December, it is lots of fun. Have a great trip.
