DVD Player Rentals @ Airport???

A friend of mine was telling me that her cousin had rented a DVD player and videos at the airport (DTW) and either returned it at MCO or back at DTW... Has anyone heard of this service?? She did not have too much info and was going to ask her cousin, but I thought I would ask here.. She was not sure if they rented from the airport or airline...

Wow, that's pretty neat. I'm just bringing my laptop and a couple of DVDs for our flight...

But for about $100.00 you can buy one...so depending on the length you are using it...or how often you travel...it maybe worth the investment.
