DVC'ers...tell me I won't be bored staying here over AKV!

BLT is our home resort, and we have stayed there only once, for four nights. We liked it.

Last december, we stayed at AKL on a whim for four nights, last minute trip. We loved it.

We are going the first week of december, and we are booked at BLT in a studio standard.... Currently waitlisted for AKV standard/value room.

I am thinking of cancelling the waitlists, and just keeping BLT ( LOVE that decorated castle at night)........But I don't want to be dissapointed....sheesh..Thankfully,this is my only real debacle at this point in time...

tell why you liked BLT but loved AKV.

was it the animals - the points saving at AKV - the atmosphere at AKV - - these would definitely make you disappointed in BLT.

now love BLT - and would rather stay at BLT than any of the other DVC resorts - but it is not for everyone.

being able to walk to the MK - it is one of its biggest assets. AKV you can't walk to any of the parks.

how old is your family - just adults - then think you will love TOWL. if little kids - it is still nice - but the wall around the deck can be too tall for them to see the MK. so little ones unless they are carried are missing the wonderfully view. then some people actually prefer the view from Main street - I don't - i prefer TOWL.
