I just saw a post on the DVC boards about The Grand Hotel not being part of the concierge collection anymore, so I thought I would post this if anyone is interested.
Through Travelzoo.com, you can book a room at The Grand Hotel for $249/night for pretty much all of August (weekends included). This includes breakfast for up to 4 people in the Main Dining Room, but does not include dinner. I booked a room for one night at the end of August. We will be camping up there, and planned a day trip to the island ... the day trip has turned into an overnight trip (and I'll have to pack some nice clothes)! LOL.
I'm pretty excited. I've never stayed there, but it has always been one of those "someday" plans.
Off to see if I can add "Somewhere in Time" to the Netflix que!
