Hi there,

1st time poster here. Looking for advice on which DVC property you would recommend we try to stay at . We are coming in August for 5 nights…two families that contain 3 adults and 3 teenagers (13,15 and 16 year olds) in all. I like to stay at a different resorts each vacation to DW. I have stayed at Caribbean Beach, Beach Club, Saratoga Springs, Dixie Landings and Hotel Royal Plaza on past vacations. Interested in what others feel may be best for the teenagers.

Thanks!

My two teenage boys want to move in at OKW if that says anything. Of course both of them are really into golf and outdoors in general.

Second on OKW here from my two teenage DS. They love the size of the rooms in the 1 & 2 bedroom, sitting on the deck and feeding ducks, and they love the community hall and activities available (pool, air hockey, ping pong, beach volleyball, basketball, tennis, and the new slide at the pool). The boat to DTD is great too. Of course, we are staying at AKV for the first time in two months, so they might change their favourite after our stay there, as there is a lot to do for them as well.

we went in Thanksgiving 2007 with 4 teenagers, 14, 15, 18, 19. we stayed at The Boardwalk Villa, they loved it, so did the adults and the 4 year old! there are all kinds of things that they can do on the boardwalk. we loved it so much we are going back Feb. 2009 , we also had 4 Boardwalk view studios, it was great being out on the balcony watching everyone on the boardwalk and viewing the fireworks from epcot and magic kingdom.

Thank you all for your ideas. I did stay at Saratoga Springs in 06 with my two kids, they were 11 and 13 at the time. They loved it there. We spent some afternoons by the pool and they loved the different pool games and trivia games that had. Also the arcade was right there by the pool which made my son very happy! Want to try a different resort this trip.

My two (DD 14 and DS 16) love the BWV and request that for every trip. We've been lucky several years in early August to get BWV standard view at 7 months out. Highlights for them are the pool slide and easy access to two parks.

For us, it's hands down BWV. They love being able to walk around the BW area on their own, going over to Beaches and Cream for ice cream, eating at ESPN, Big River Grille. They like being able to walk to Epcot/MGM or take the boat over themselves, and they really love the huge winding slide at the pool - it's too big of a slide to "outgrow".

Even now, away at college, they want to know when we are going back to BW! And they want to take friends all the time.

My two teens, 17 and 14, loooooove BWV. Prior to last summer we had taken our kids to WDW 4 times, each time staying onsite. Last summer we stayed at BWV, and have since bought a resale there:goodvibes . It's a bit busier and noisier than other DVC's, but isn't that perfect for teens? DH and I both liked it as well. Being able to walk to both Epcot and DHS was amazing. After Fantasmic and the fireworks at Epcot you just walk home. Some might think the walk to DHS is too far, but with teens we found it far easier to walk 15-20 minutes than to stand in another line at the end of the day!

Well... this is not WDW, but HHI has the best programs and is the best stay for teens... IMHO.

Have been to OKW, VWL & BWV during the teenage years and hands down their favorite was the BWV stay, they are now 18 and 22 and BWV is still their favorite it for them is now all about the location and the easy access to HS & Epcot and they love the eveing excitment of the BW itself.
