DVC Welcome Party and/or other DVC events onboard

Is DVC doing the Members Party? If so, when on day 1 is it being done on the Wonder? Are there any other DVC member events occurring onboard?

Unless they have restarted these very recently, they are not currently doing any DVC gatherings.

On the Fantasy last week they had a member gift everyday. Mostly promotional stuff like buttons for the new Grand Floridian, but a very nice backpack/bag and a cool Riviera print as well. Not just hats, for once (they said they had gotten feedback that people were tired of them). Too bad the Castaway Club can’t get that message about the sling bags.

We were on the Fantasy 2 weeks ago. No dvc meet still. We did stop by the desk for a small gift each night. Buttons, small luggage tag and a couple of bags. Magnet and lanyards on your cabin door. You touch your room card to the pad to verify your dvc status. One night they had IT issues so asked for our blue card. Not sure about white card Status. I showed them my digital card with the Y on it, and offered them my blue card too, as I still carry it. But they logged into their system and verified my status. There was a little push on adding to our membership too. In addition to a dvc rep, there was also a dvc sales rep.

I know this is an older thread, but I just got a call from DVC that they are restarting the member welcome celebrations. At least next week on the Wonder (not sure about other ships). And they did say it’s not on Day 1, but to check the navigator to see when it’s scheduled.

I just got off the 9-night Southern Caribbean on the Fantasy yesterday (7/30/2022). We had DVC member celebrations on that sailing. I think it was the 2nd day and the 7th.

It started this past week on the Wonder We went to the first one since the start up on our Ketchikan day. They have changed the show, it's uh....different lol. The drinks were also different (but better!) The DVC staff on our cruise were fantastic, we stopped by the desk every day for the little gift and they were awesome to speak with.

It should as the whole goal is to get you to buy more.

It's nothing that crazy and that print of Riviera they have been giving out for years.

They always gave out a button as well just sounds like it's a VGF button currently.
