Hi Folks,

Well came back from a quick weekend at wdw last week and trying to take advantage of the AP so I am curious about WDW during SPring Break...my DD starts college this year so instead of going in the summer End June/early July..

I was wondering if one of you kind people could give me insight if you have done this before.

Much Abliged,

Been doing it for years. First with DS, now with DD. Depends on when the week is for your student's college - they can range all the way from early march to mid-april! Our son usually had his week starting the first saturday in march, and our daughter's occurred a week later. This year they had their latest break week - March 13 was the day we arrived at WDW. It was without a doubt the most crowded spring break week we have ever experienced! Still, it is very nice to get warm. This year with the crazy weather we did not swim. First year for that, too (not swimming, that is). Hoping this is not a trend, and there will be lower crowds and higher temps next year:rotfl2:. Only advice - the earlier you can book your room the better!

Thanks Deb for your response... May I ask , Have you ever been in the summer as a comparison? Also could you comment on waittimes for the populars just as a guide.

We are figuring that we will do what we can and chill the rest of the time but if the pools aren't an option then there will be much shopping to be had..

we were there for our spring break here in canada. It was that same week. But we arrived early on the wed before. The weather wasnt the best but the crowds were low. We did mk first because my sons step daughters had never been. Im glad we did that, once sat arrived first day of spring break it was packed. There were 2 hour waits on some of the rides and it was packed walking around. We did some single passenger lines which made the waits shorter. Even fast passes at toy story sold out early. So if you can get there maybe 2 or 3 days before you are better off.
