We've only stayed at the SSR (twice), so far. Since we have a couple of little ones, we tried to cook breakfast each morning. But we noticed that there were only a couple of pots in the kitchen to cook with. Is that the case at the other DVC resort also? It would make cooking eggs whole lot easier, if there was a frying pan. Would they bring you one, if you ask?

Not sure about SSR, but OKW has two sizes of fry pans, plus 3 sizes of other covered pots.

We always have fry pans. You are supposed to have frying pans. If it's not there next time call and have them bring you one.

Word to the Wise: on our last trip in a 2 bdrm I thought we were missing pans. Someone had stored them in the oven! I have also found them in the stove drawer (beneath the oven), in the high cupboard over the stove, and in the dish cupboards.

Check the drawer under the oven. I believe that's where most of the cookware is stored. The one bedroom and larger villas have just about everything you would have at home.

Depending on the resort, there is a list of items that should be in the unit. We have found it on the inside of a kitchen cabinet, on the door. Other times it was a laminated sheet, on the counter. It lists number of plates, pots, flatware, serving utensils, serving plates, mixing bowls, can opener etc. If I remember correctly, it is printed on a green paper.
