DVC-Tracker Version 1.76-A is now available

Just to let everyone know that there is a new interim, pre-release version of DVC-Tracker, which is V1.76-A

This version fixes some errors with V1.76, and also has some additional features active. For example, one new feature uses a bar 'date chart' to show you where you are relative to your banking windows. It already works for the new banking rules.

Also, V1.76-A will work with Vista, but does require installation into a user defined folder. See the notes on the web-site.

If you've been using V1.75 or V1.76, be sure to check the instructions on the web-site.

The final release version is still on schedule to be available by the end of the year.

It does work on Vista, but to do so you need to install it into a 'user' directory and not into the default directory.

The 'user' directory can be a new directory you create, or another directory of your choosing. It will not work if installed into the default "Program files" directory as Vista has redefined the "Program Files" directory access different than XP did it and if the program is installed there, Vista 'protects' that directory and will not allow DVC-Tracker (or any other program) to access any data stored there.

If you just install everything to a different directory, this version of DVC-Tracker will work fine under Vista.

During installation all you need to do is browse to the directoy you want to install into, and not let it install into the default directory. This is a simple thing to do, and some instructions are on the web site.

If anyone has previously used V1.75 or V1.76, under XP, and wants to continue using the program under Vista, and wants to retain their original data, feel free to send me a PM for special instructions.

I used to have your program on my now defunct p.c. - (R.I.P.)
made the switch to a Mac.....but am now without the tracking system. Any hope that you have a version for Mac???

Mac owners can use Mouse Manager.
