DVC tour

I am really considering adding on 50pts at GFV2. Dh hates GF so they would mainly be for RunDisney or girl only trips. Dh and I are staying at Poly in June and I would like to have him tour a new studio and VGF1 with me. I want his opinion on waiting for Poly2 vs just adding VGF2.
How do the room tours work? Can we just walk over from Poly and ask to see them? We are only doing a quick weekend trip so I don’t really want to have to schedule anything.

Yes, you can just Monorail or walk over from the Poly.

The DVC desk is located just outside of the Grand Floridian Cafe. Check-in there before 7 pm (that’s when I think that desk closes) and someone should be able to take you to the showroom.

When we had finished our breakfast there were 2 cast members there and we were able to start the tour in about 2 minutes after they pulled up our DVC information in the iPad.

Resort Studios are very nice and in my opinion a good layout with lots of room.

We were also shown a dedicated two bedroom however we were not able to tour the GV as we were informed that they are using it as an office at the moment.

We were able to do quick tours at GF and Riviera this past Saturday before our flight out. We just stopped by and were able to be connected with someone for a tour very quickly.

We did get a chance to see the GV at both resorts. They are gorgeous - especially the GF one. (It was still being used as offices). I'm glad we got a chance to see the new floor plans and pull-down beds. The tower studio at Riviera is interesting (for 2 people). We like the full kitchen in the 1BR, but may consider that option in the future.
