Can anybody tell me about the DVC Tour Fast Passes?

Are they only good for a certain date?
A particular ride?
How many rides per pass?

:thanks:

They are valid for 48 hours after they are issued. They are each good for 3 fast passes. It can be any attraction that is still has fast passes available. Your one hour block does not use the return times displayed, they are good as soon as they are issued.

Do you insert them into the fast pass machine?
What do you mean by a one hour block?

Yes, you still have to insert them into the machine that dispenses the fast passes. All fast passes say return between x and y. That's your one hour block. With the ones from DVC, the return time is immediate.

Just a point to remember...when the attraction stops giving out fast passes for the day you will not be able to use your "instant fast passes" so if you are interested in a very popular attraction like Soarin' don't wait until too late in the day to use your passes. We received 6 passes each but missed out on using a couple on our last day because the fast pass machine was broken or they because they had issued the maximum number of passes for the day. Just something to keep in mind when you plan how to use them..

And there's no guarantee that you will get FPs for going on the tour. Some people got gift cards on their tour, we didn't get anything at all for taking the tour (except the free ice cream!). It's a nice bonus if they offer it.

Do you get these Fast Passes in addition to the $100 gift card Disney gives you for touring the units? I toured in September and just got the $100 gift card.

The gifts/incentives change almost daily and they are different by location.

When we took our tour last year we got the Fastpasses - not a gift card. We received one per member of our family. They were great - we go to ride Everest about 10x that day between regular fp's and those instant ones!

We received 4 Fast Pass Cards (there were two of us), each good for 3 uses (so a total of 12 uses) and they were valid for 3 days (according to the card itself).

Pretty nice little gift, and to be honest, they didn't even need to give us a gift, we knew we were buying and they were doing US a favor by showing us the resort.

The fast passes we recieved didn't register between various parks, so we were able to use them the next day in another park. Also, one of the rides was out of fast passes, we talked to a cast member, and were allowed to enter the fast pass line and go on the ride. I don't remember the ride or the cast member, since it was the beginning of last December.
