My son and I are going to WDW in a few weeks as his college graduation gift. He would like to go on one of the tours....I forget the name of it offhand, but it is all day and visits 3 (all 4??) parks. He went on this a few years ago when he was still in high school. Will he still qualify for the DVC discount? He is 22, but his legal address is still with us. I will not be going on the tour with him. He will probably do it regardless of whether or not he gets the discount, but who wouldn't save a few bucks when they could!

Just a note that Disney visa credit card holders also get a discount

I think if you call the WDW tour number and supply your DVC number and then give a photocopy of it to your son, he'll be okay. As long as his address on his driver's license matches your home address there shouldn't be any questions.

Thanks!

We dont have the Disney Visa, so that won't help us.

I wonder - should I copy my Drivers license and DVC card, and send them with Sean? Or since I would be booking it over the phone ahead of time does he just need to show up? I assume his room key card will say DVC Member on it....it usually does when we go.

Another option, depending on how big of a present you are wishing to give, would be the premium or platinum dining package. These would include unlimited tours along with the dining plan. If it is not that long of a trip, it may be worth it. I think that they changed to a minimum of 3 night stays for these packages this year.

It's the Backstage Magic Tour. Have done it several times and it's really interesting.

The tour doesn't go to Animal Kingdom though, it's just Magic Kingdom, Epcot and the Studios.
