DVC timeshare

I have found a time share to rent through Dave's. I am wondering since we have to buy tickets on our own how that works with linking up for fast passes ?!
Also does anyone know if we will get magic bands?

We've rented through Dave several times and it's no problem at all for linking everything up. In your MDE account you add your reservation # from Dave and that will add your stay. Then once you buy your ticket you add the ticket # to your MDE account and you will get the option to order and personalize your magic bands. What was even better was that from doing all that when we went last month and stayed at VWL we were given the option to bypass check in at the hotel and opt for a text when our room was ready and go straight to our room. It was the easiest experience we've had thus far!

Thank you! We have only ever gone through Disney direct so this is a whole new experience. It is saving so much money so I am really hoping it works!!

Not a problem at all! Discovering Dave was the best and we tell everyone about it because you save so much money! Once you have the reservation linked its just like you booked direct, you won't notice a difference from there on out. We are now actually in the process of trying to buy a resale DVC because we used it so much

The biggest issue with renting DVC points is that the rental is typically not refundable if you need to cancel.

Also, DVC is a timeshare which means you don't get daily housekeeping and studios typically have 1 queen bed and 1 pullout sofa bed.

With that said, it can be a great deal if you understand the differences.
