I am considering renting points for a DVC Studio in June. I am worried about the comfort level of the sofa sleepers for 2 teen girls (ages 17 and 19). I know that OKW has 2 queens. Are any of the other DVC studios considered better than others for the comfort level of the sofa sleeper? This may be a deal breaker, so I may just need to book a moderate. Thanks for your insight!

Do one of the studios that sleep 5 and they have the pull out and a twin Murphy. I have a 15yo that is 6 ft tall and he does fine on a pull out but there’s no way he could share it. He has autism and says they are comfortable. He has sensory problems so that’s actually saying a lot.

I am kinda wondering if OKW will continue to have two queen beds after the refurb. That is just a thought.

How tall is your youngest? Poly would be good, as it has the Murphy along with the sleeper couch, plus two bathrooms (only one toilet, but both a shower/tub in one and a shower in the other, with vanity in each).

We did four adults at BCV in January for Marathon Weekend and no problems! Two of us shared the bed, one on the pullout and one on the little murphy bed. We're doing the same arrangement again in just a few weeks!

BWV has a pull out and a Murphy as well. As long as at least one if them is under, say 5’6 or so they should be ok. I’m guessing on height here. My 4’3 DD seemed to have at least a foot or more to spare.

If it's similar to the one at BCV, my friend that slept on the Murphy bed was close to my height (5'7") and she felt completely comfortable on there ... but she may be a curl-up sleeper. Either way, she was completely comfortable length and width wise on the little pull-down bed - and it had a convenient spot for her to charge her phone right above her!

Thank you all so much! My daughters are 5'3" and 4'11, so the pull down bed would be great. The pull downs are available at BWV (all studios?), Poly, GF, WL and BCV, right?

Thank you all so much! My DD's are 5'3" and 4'11", so a pull down would fit either of them well, it sounds like. Pull downs are available at BWV, BCV, CCV, BRV, VGF and Poly, correct?

CCV does not have the pull down beds. The studios there will only accommodate 4 people plus one under the age of 3.

I would lean toward a studio at Poly. They are the largest studios on property and there's a double bathroom setup (full bath with bath with a tub/shower combo and another with a sink and walk-iin shower).

We have stayed BWV with 4 in a studio. I just wanted to let you know that it's a tight fit in the room when the couch bed is pulled out and Murphy need is down. It worked fine for us but worth noting. My 13 yo slept comfortably on the Murphy bed. He is about 5"'1.

Thank you. I did worry about the space left in the room...does anyone know if OKW studios feel noticeably larger? That may be our best bet, although I was hoping for a better location. I know availability would probably be an issue at the Poly...but that would be amazing. :)

The OKW studios feel more like a large hotel room than the other DVC studios. IMO, they do not feel as cramped as many of the DVC studios feel when the sleeper sofa has been opened. BLT studios have the smallest space and, for me, AKV-Kidani was a close second - and those resorts don't have the pull down bed for a 5th person!. Not only does the sofa bed take up floor space, you also have to find a spot for the coffee table than is normally positioned in front of the sofa.

Booking the Poly has not been an issue in the past because it was not sold out to DVC owners. That will change soon. It has been 100% declared and once the last contracts have been sold, booking there will become more difficult at 7 months. However, "difficult" does not mean "impossible" and you could always pay an agency their premium price to get a Poly owner to book for you between 11-7 months out.

Stayed at OKW with 4 adults and thought the room was very large. 2 queens was great for us. Luggage fit next to the beds and there was still a lot of floor space, a little kitchenette, and a table to sit at. Location didn't bother me. We stayed close to Hospitality House and got on and off the bus there so we didn't have to ride it around the resort.

I'm sure the location of OKW is not bad but the location of BWV or BCV is just so good! I would prob do BWV or BCV and make it work. In our case, (2 adults, 2 kids) we made it work by unpacking and making the beds every day. I think we had two big suitcases to put in the closet and one smaller one by the door.

My kids are younger than yours (10/13) but we would do it again. Someone else mentioned BLT as being even smaller (sleeps 4) and we would not do BLT again for that reason.

I would definitely try Poly if it is available to you though.

So we have NYE booked with our twin girls who are 18. We were low on points so I had to book a studio. I booked OKW since the 2 real queen beds. Then I saw Poly open for the last 2 nights of our 5 night stay so I switched to that for a split stay. Poly has 2 bathrooms, is spacious and has the pull out AND TV flip down bed. I waitlisted the first 3 nights, that we have OKW booked, for Poly as well. No luck with waitlist so far though.

We, the 4 of us, have stayed in studios at BWV and SSR. Those were tight.

Not really two bathrooms. Just one bathroom with tub, toilet and sink and another room with shower and sink.
