DVC room discount

Do we still get 25% room rate discounts? Is this only at the main resorts? All four resorts are booked for the week of the March 14. We have friends staying at Coronado Springs from March 17 - 20. So we want to stay there. I missed out on the 40% rate. I don't have an AP. MIL who lives in Celebration won't use her FL residency DL to check-in with us to get us the 40% rate. AAA is not valid. So my next best rate is the 25% or does this not work for outside the main resorts?

Also, how do I find out what the points are for the CS without calling MS?

In my experience those discounts vary from time to time, and availability increases as you get closer to the rental date.

Do I book with MS or through 407.WDISNEY to get the 25% discount on the hotel resorts?

The 25% DVC discount (when available) is only at DVC Resorts (and can only be made thru MS). If you want to use points at CSR, then MS can make a reservation, otherwise you'll have to reserve thru WDTC/CRO for cash reservations at non-DVC resorts.

And there are also the Disney Visa card discounts! Pretyy good deals too from what I am seeing on the Budget board.
