We had two studios on hold and booked Disney Dining ressies for all 8 of us. Now I have to cancel one of the ressies. What will happen to that half of my dining ressies? Will they fall off or will the whole thing void? I don't want to lose my ressie time.

Nothing happens to the dining. You don't have to stay on property at all to have ADR's.

You will need to call in to WDW dining to have them modify the reservations if your room cancellation means less people will be coming to the meals. If all those people are still coming to eat, and just not staying DVC, then you don't need to do anything at all regarding the ADR's.

Many Disney dining reservations have a $10 per person "no show" fee if you make a reservation but fail to show up for it. The fee is not charged if the reservation is canceled prior to 24 hours before the dining time.

I know this fee applies if no one shows up for the reservation. I think (but I'm not sure) the fee will not apply if at least part of the group shows up. Better call Disney Dining to be sure.

That is true,if just one person shows up for dinner then no fees will be paid.
