If one goes on WDW website, we learn that OKW and SSR are the only dedicated DVC resorts per se at WDW. Obviously, one can book rooms at these two resorts on a cash basis, but they are listed only as DVC resorts. A room ressie at these resorts could be anywhere in the complex.

VWL is part of WL but it has a dedicated building and the VWL rooms are not mingled with the WL rooms.

BCV and BWV are part of the BC/YC and BWI complexes respectively. My question is are the BCV and BWV rooms seperated from the non-DVC rooms or are they interspersed within the entire complex ? How can one look at a resort map of these two complexes and determine which rooms are DVC and which are not ?

I don't know about BWV, but BCV is a separate building, just like VWL.

ParkInfo2Go has some good maps. Here's a direct link to the entire YC/BC resort area that shows BCV as a separate building.

The BW resort is made up of two separate wings with the shared lobby in between. The BWV (DVC) wing is the one closest to the Swan/Dolphin resorts, the canal and main feature pool (Luna Park). The BWI (hotel) wing is the one closest to EPCOT.

On the map (link above), the BWI is on the left and the BWV are on the right.

Best wishes -

All DVC resorts at WDW are "dedicated" resorts. BWV, VWL, and BCV are separate buildings with completely different room configurations than the adjacent deluxe resorts. The DVC resorts share the same check-in lobby, valet parking, bus stops, pools, and restaurants with the deluxe resorts — but the actual rooms are in different buildings (or different wings), and the resorts even have different names

For example, at Disney's Boardwalk, the deluxe resort is Disney's Boardwalk Inn and the DVC resort is Disney's Boardwalk Villas Resort.

When you go to the DIS Home and look under resort maps and pull up the BC or YC resort map....the BCV are not even on the map, and there is no seperate listing for a BCV resort map. Sounds like DIS is using a pre-2000 resort map.
