DVC Resort Academy Awards – Category: Best Overall Resort Amenities

Vote for the DVC resort(s) which, in your personal opinion, should win in the category of “Best Overall Resort Amenities”.

I have excluded the two offsite DVC resorts from consideration in this poll. I would suggest voting for your top one to three choices in this category, and then optionally adding a reply outlining your vote and the reason(s) behind your vote.

My top three choices would be:

1) BLT
2) AKV
3) VGC

I voted for BCV (mainly due to SAB) and VCG (because California Adventure and Downtown Disney are literally in your backyard)

SSR, great pools, spa, fitness area, two of my favorite places to eat, easy access to everything in the World and my car, recreational activities such as golf right there, fun planned activities for kids at the Community Hall, movies at the pool, boats to Downtown Disney, outdoor bbq grills and picnic areas, fishing, great jogging and walking paths and a fabulous staff.

I'm going with BCV, then WLV

Beach club of course has stromalong bay but I also love it for the access to the entertainment at the broadwalk and easy access to 2 parks. Last, I love the access to the spa at Swan.

When I think of amenities, I think, what do I need right now, and how long till I get it. Food usually...LOL, so I picked OKW for it's grocery.

I know I didn't put OKW in this catagory, but I looked at amenities as a WOW factor, and while I love OKW, it has a different "WOW" factor than the others, so I looked more to the hotel type locations for this.

VWL and AKV, they have the things I/we need to enjoy our trips the most.

I couldn't vote for OKW or SSR because neither have room service or valet parking.

Of the remaining resorts, I know VWL has tons of amenities. I can't say for certain other resorts have the same things.

I completely forgot about room service. We use it at the resorts that have it, when I don't feel like cooking.

I know we haven't stayed there (yet) but I have to vote for VGC because it is simply stunning, and location location location.
Others - BWV and BLT

Based on the fact that we have only stayed at AKV, BCV, BWV, VWL, and OKW from the list, I voted for BCV for the SALB. But AKV is definitely a close second.
