DVC Reservation at DL HOTEL with one night regular Hotel reservation in the middle

Please help. New to DVC. We have a weekend of Standard View with our DVC points at the Disneyland Hotel. One night in the middle was fully booked so we bought a Premiere View paid cash. Will they real make use change rooms? We don't care about the premiere view and are fine to stay in the Standard View and still pay the Premiere View fee. I just don't want to have to pack and move in the middle of the weekend.

Will the front desk help us work this out?

Seems it would be better for them, offering them a premiere view to either sell or gift to someone else.

When we tried to call and talk to the front desk they acted like the DVC points were confusing and there was nothing they could do.

They might but I think you'll just have to wait until check-in to see.

I'd plan to move every night, but be pleasantly surprised if I didn't have to move.
