DVC Purchase on Disney Visa

I just spoke with my guide and was told the only portion that would be 0% interest for 6 months was the first $5000 and that she would be "unable" to break the amount into 3 smaller chunks (as other people on here have mentioned doing)...any advice?

I am getting the 6 months, 0% interest on the entire amount of my contract. Mine went to the card in a four or five installments but I didn't ask for it that way, that is just how it was billed.

The largest charge was more than $5000 and that qualified for the promotion as well.

So, while the guide may be telling you what is supposed to happen, in my case (and others who have posted), they gave me the deal on all the charges.

We put the full balance of our contracts, 2 180 points at AKV ($30,000ish), on our card. We only had the charges on the card for a few weeks but it was at 0% interest. I would call Chase VISA and check with them.

I think they'll tell you the same thing, that's it's only the first $xxxx ($5000? I thought it was $2500?). But I think they're just not checking.

If you can risk it, I'd put $5000 down, and then after you get the paperwork, you'll have the number for Quality Assurance to call with questions. They can also take payments, so work with them about splitting up the payments. They've done it for me twice.

We got a new disney visa just before we bought 160 points and the card had a 0% APR for 12 months. Our credit limit was high enough to put the entire purchase on it and so we will have 0% APR for 12 months.

This was a special offer for new card applicants.

I split my payments, 1st was the down 2nd was 1/2 and then the 3rd was the other 1/2. My guide did not have a problem doing that for me.
